WakeMeow privacy policy
This policy describes data handling in WakeMeow: Alarms & Naps (起床喵), operated by 广州市天度科技有限公司 (Guangzhou Tendo Technology Co., Ltd.). It covers the iPhone app’s alarms, naps, tasks, focus timer and local records.
Data stays on your device
We do not collect your personal data through WakeMeow. The app does not automatically upload personal data. It has no account, app backend, analytics SDK, advertising SDK or in-app cloud sync.
The app stores alarm and nap plans, alarm names, selected sounds, history, personal check-ins, preferences, favorites and room progress in a local database on your iPhone. It uses these records to show your plans and history and restore your settings. History is kept for up to 365 days.
Check-ins are what you choose to record. The app does not record sleep, diagnose conditions or calculate a clinical sleep score. Audio device names and route identifiers may be checked locally while the app runs; they are excluded from export files.
System alarm permission
Wake-up alarms and nap alerts require your permission to use Apple’s system alarm service (AlarmKit). The app passes the information needed to schedule and present an alarm to iOS. You can manage permission in the app’s page in iOS Settings.
WakeMeow does not request microphone, location, Health, camera, contacts or tracking permission. Its math, memory and typing tasks run in the app.
You control exports and sharing
“Export my data” creates a JSON file that may include alarm names, times and personal check-ins. A separate redacted diagnostic summary excludes alarm names, exact schedule times, headphone names, device identifiers, recordings and health data.
Both files are generated locally. Nothing is sent automatically. If you choose a destination in the iOS share sheet, that destination receives the file and handles it under its own privacy rules. Check the contents and recipient before sharing.
Only the latest explicitly generated export is kept in the app’s temporary export folder. Clearing history or all app data also clears that folder. Copies already saved or sent elsewhere are outside the app’s control.
Review, erase or stop using the app
You can review history and export records in the app. “Clear history only” deletes history and check-ins while preserving future alarms and room progress.
“Cancel all alarms & clear data” cancels the app’s system alarms before deleting local plans, history, preferences and room progress. If cancellation fails, the app retains records and shows an error so you can check and retry. Permission can also be revoked in iOS Settings.
We do not hold a server copy of your app records and cannot retrieve or erase a file that you shared with another service. iOS and any device-backup service you choose manage their own system data and backups under their policies.
Website visits and support email are separate
Opening a website link leaves the app’s local-data context. Website hosting and security services may process IP addresses, requested pages, access times and technical logs as described in our company privacy policy.
If you email tendotech@qq.com, your email address and message are used to reply. Support only answers questions; we do not request or collect personal-data exports, diagnostic files or screenshots as a support workflow. Please do not include those files or personal schedules. Mail services may retain messages under their own policies.
The app’s local-data statement does not mean that website or email services process no information. For the app, this product-specific policy applies; website visits and voluntary correspondence follow the company policy.
Updates and contact
If the app’s data handling changes, we will update this policy and the corresponding app notices and store privacy answers. The date above identifies this policy version.
